PURPOSE

 

To assist our dear Texas Southern University by donating auxiliary funds to the Texas Southern Athletic Department earmarked for specific items for all NCAA Division I sports. 

 

 

OBJECTIVES

 

To gradually help improve the Athletic Department at Texas Southern University.

To gradually help improve the level of athletic and academic performance of the student-athletes.

To gradually help improve the level of giving from alumni and friends of Texas Southern University.

 

 

DONOR INFORMATION

 

Dear Friend,

 

The purpose of this letter is to inform and assist new members of the TSU Tiger Club, and also to remind existing members of the common practice used to make donations to the Texas Southern University Athletic Department.

 

With that said, the TSU Tiger Club does not handle member donations directly, instead all members are encouraged to take or send their annual donation(s) to the athletic department.  The main purpose for doing so is to ensure all donations go directly to the school/athletic department, and also to ensure each member receives their tax-deductible receipt from the Texas Southern University Office of Development.

 

If your choice of donating is by check or money order every member is strongly encouraged to take or send it to the Texas Southern University Athletics Business Manager, Christopher LeBlanc.  If your choice is indeed so, please write on the Pay to Order of Line: Texas Southern University Athletics, and on the Memo Line: The TSU Tiger Club.
